With no powers other than martial arts skills, nonlethal weapons and courage, "The Super 2" sneak away from their families each night to battle crime and protect the city's innocents.

Keeping their superhero identities hidden, it becomes harder and harder for Ralph and Lou to juggle their family duties while saving the world. When the kids suspect from their Dads' odd behavior and bruises that they may be up to something, they follow them one night and discover that their Dads are Superheroes. The children give their Dads and ultimatum. They want in on the crime fighting action or they will tell their Moms/ Ralph and Lou have no choice but to accept.

How Far Would You Go To Save Your Kids... A Million Years? "Time Chasers" Amazing Action, Time travel, Extraterrestrials, and Dinsosaurs are all packed into a one-hour family adventure series. Professor Harold and Penny Chase are prominent archeologists who are hired by a government agency to perform a top-secret dig in the region of Area 51. The Chase's three children, Conner, Gabby, and Albert, are working alongside their parents when they unearth a strange device that turns out to be an ancient alien time machine. The kids accidentally activate the device, transporting all three children, a co-worker and their wacky Uncle Bob back in time.

Every 24 hours, the device zaps them into another TIME PERIOD. Professor Chase and his wife literally race the clock, chasing their children through time trying to bring them back to the present day. All the while they are under surveillance by the Government Agents that hired them. These devious people will stop at nothing to retrieve the alien time machine, even at the cost of the Chase children's lives.

Each week the kids encounter fascinating and dangerous events, places and times throughout history. From the prehistoric age where dinosaurs ruled the earth to the days of the cavemen to the American Revolution to the rough and rowdy wild, wild, west, they must survive the elements while trying not to alter history.

His wealthy mother, however, has higher aspirations for her son and engineers their break-up. Heartbroken and overwhelmed with financial burden, Phuong Ly travels to Saigon in the hope that she might find a solution to her family's financial struggle. Desperate and alone, she becomes entangled in the dark underworld of marriage agencies. Hopeful that the foreign man she has agreed to marry will offer her and her family a better life, Phuong Ly leaves her native land for the promise of America. With it quickly becoming clear that her new husband is motivated by more sinister intentions, Phuong Ly must now engineer her escape from the nightmarish existence that she has become enslaved within.

Vivendi Entertainment has acquired the U.S. home video, digital and mobile rights to Palisades Tartan's catalog, marking the first time the library will be available digitally to US audiences. Asia Extreme highlights horror, thriller and action films from Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and all of Asia, including Park Chan-wook's "Old Boy." The deal was negotiated by Yolanda Macias, senior vp business and development at Vivendi Entertainment, and Kevin Burns, CEO of Palisades Tartan.

Rockmond Dunbar Star's in the Faith Based Film of The Year "Jada".

Jada is the faith based story of a woman whose life becomes chaotic when her husband is killed in a questionable car accident. Her once-comfortable middle-class lifestyle comes crashing down when an insurance company labels the accident a suicide and refuses to pay her benefits as the survivor.

As a result, Jada (Sienna Goines) and her two teenage children, Jasmine and Jamal, become homeless and have to live in their car until the pastor of a local church, the Rev. Terrence Mayweather (Clifton Powell), comes to their aid. The family finds shelter in a low-income housing project, but Jamal becomes entangled in the neighborhood gang. Throughout the ordeal, Jada's unwavering faith in God keeps the family together. An unlikely savior arrives in the person of Simon Williams (Rockmond Dunbar), who has been released from prison on the Reverend Mayweather's strong recommendation. Simon becomes a mentor to Jamal in an attempt to steer him away from the gang, but tensions are high between Simon and the head of the gang and Jamal is faced with a life changing decision. Will he choose the streets or will he choose god?

Mob-fuelled mayhem as Eric Roberts goes on the hunt for missing millions in this Zone Thriller premiere…

Merle “The Butcher” Hench (Eric Roberts) is an old school enforcer for the mob. Constantly in trouble with local bad guys for gambling debts, he lets off a young hoodlum who has crossed his boss, Murdoch. Murdoch, being a most unpleasant individual, suggests that Merle looks to retire, i.e. a thinly disguised threat to say it’s time for him to pack in being his stooge before he gets offed. Merle realises time is against him when a young upstart is promoted to head stooge over him.

Spending time at the local strip club, Merle is confronted by masked gunmen robbing the takings. Now these takings are slightly different than usual, since this is money being laundered for the mafia in Nevada. Shooting one of the gunmen, Merle realises his new rival is trying to impress Murdoch and stitch up the sleazy club owner Doyle as well as him. As he flees the club, Merle picks up a bag left by the robbers - which has nearly a million dollars in it.

Up to this point, not really a lot happens in The Butcher. We meet the characters, we witness their day to day goings on and at that point, I was very bored. Suddenly the film kicks into gear around the 40 minute mark and we are then treated to Roberts’ character killing and beating the crap out of various bad guys. The blood bags certainly get used by the make up department with Roberts using all kinds of weaponry to blast his way to freedom.

Aided by a waitress he has fallen for, Roberts travels downtown LA in search of the missing millions so he can safely ‘retire’. This all leads to a seriously violent shoot out with only one winner.....

The Butcher has a ‘B’-movie cast to die for. Roberts is a terrific actor if given good material and he plays the tired hitman well. In one scene, where he brandishes an old-fashioned machine gun, it reminded me of Charles Bronson in Death Wish 3 (probably the most violent and over the top film ever!).

Chief nasty Murdoch is portrayed by Robert (Licence to Kill / Maniac Cop 2 & 3) Davi clearly relishing his role and chomping on the scenery as much as his cigars. Great support is offered by Keith (The Thing) David, Bokeem (The Big Hit) Woodbine, Geoffrey (Every Way but Loose’s Orville) Lewis and a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo from badass god, Michael (Scanners) Ironside.

Although not the greatest film ever made and certainly not the worst, The Butcher is definitely worth a watch, as it has some good gun battles and a likeable leading character. It’s well worth setting the planner on your box to record it, sit back with a beer and a bag of crisps and enjoy a blood-soaked shoot ‘em up when you have a spare couple of hours going.

UNIVERSAL CITY, CA, – Vivendi Entertainment (VE) has acquired the US home video, television, audio, digital and mobile rights to a series of four Biblical- themed musical performances from the Liken Series produced by Lightstone Pictures. The first of the series is scheduled to be released on DVD in August of 2009.

The four titles included in the deal are the well known stories of Esther and the King, Daniel and the Lions, David and Goliath and The First Christmas.

Each Liken movie captures a scripture story as seen through the imagination of a modern-day child. With music, dancing, humor and a great message that kids can liken unto their own lives today, these movies not only entertain the whole family, they inspire. Each film has received the Dove Foundation’s “family approved” designation, with two films receiving four stars and the other two receiving five stars, the foundations highest rating.

“Liken is a major force in the growing family film genre and they have a wonderful sensibility for family entertainment,” commented Yolanda Macias, VE’s senior vice president of business development and acquisitions. “We are thrilled to enhance our faith based offerings.”

'Tunnel Rats' Coming to DVD in June

Shine Advertising just wrapped up another title from Uwe Boll. The Unrated Director's Cut of 'Tunnel Rats' hits stores on June 9.

Synopsis:
Prepare for a stunning, no holds barred journey into the darkest chapter of the Vietnam War. A special U.S. combat unit trained in underground warfare is sent on a mission to hunt and kill Viet Cong resistance forces in the endless networks of tunnels in the jungles of Cu Chi. Armed with only handguns, flashlights and knives the men soon find themselves embroiled in hand-to-hand combat both above and below ground. The Vietnamese that inhabit the tunnels are faced with an equally overwhelming task. By resorting to primitive but ingenious methods of combat, they prove to be surprisingly effective against the Americans’ superior technology. As the battle moves underground, for both sides, the struggle becomes less about winning than about survival.
